Amen. Selling drugs to pay the restaurant's bills isn't exactly "turning things around."

Lots of people lose their businesses, but don't turn into the piece of shite he was. It was said many times, including by Danny, that John saved his arse many many times. Gave him a lot of money and paid for culinary school. And he pays him back how?

Exactly.

It's very interesting to see how John's name hasn't been mentioned much throughout all of this. I actually agree with it too. He is probably the best person (of the main characters) in the entire family. I suppose Meg too, she doesn't seem immoral and they portray her struggling with the lying the most. She's just a horny little slut in need of lovin. Ironically, John is the only one in the family that murdered someone. This is a very well written show. You can go so many directions with it. Kyle Chandler has been a beast of an actor for both of these seasons.

Chandler was flawless. I caught myself at certain times watching him with mouth agape (I'm sure looking like an idiot) during season 2 and his digression as his family was turning on him. He was painfully believable. And his character John was the only one in the beginning who was not motivated by selfish gain. He was trying to protect his family. All of them. Even his pos mom and siblings.

yea, I dont think Danny was turning anything around. Dude was a scam artist and was always going to be one.

He was accepting money from John to go to school for years and he only went one semester. Plus the robbery, no way he was turning anything around. Dude was not bright enough to run a tough business like a restaurant business.

I know you guys find Linda (Meg) hot as hell but I just dont. She is nice looking but I hate her posture and attitude. Not just in this show but in everything she has been in.

She is a fricking dud.

Give me Chelsea any day

She also played in ER for most of that series. She was the same "bla" person she is in Bloodline

Not to derail the thread, but does anyone else think it's become TOO much of a mess?

I was saying this to my wife. Covering up this most recent murder is going to be very hard to believe. We'll see how they play it.

True... But, John should have run its not his fault his family is full of pathetic losers, sluts and druggies headed by an abusive a-hole. Hell, if his entire family had gotten wiped out by the cartel or died in a hurricane in the first 5 episodes he's the freaking Governor of Florida in a decade.

I dont think you run the year after you murder your brother.

not reading any of this thread because spoilers, but is it worth the watch? I saw 20 minutes of the first episode last night and fell asleep, but I loved the setting. Key West is just beautiful.

Well, did you fall asleep because you were tired or bored?

Honestly, if you're not completely hooked after the entire episode one, the show isn't for you. The cliff hanger at the end of the first episode will have you yearning to know the whole story.

John killed Danny...

Then he lied about everything.

Danny killing the Lowry crewmember was justifiable homicide in self defense. Kevin is fricked. I was more or less talking about the entirety of the series and didn't factor Kevin into it since it was the closing scene of the season. Yea, Kevin is pretty damn immoral. What I meant was that it seems John has the best morals of everyone, but in actuality, he killed someone so it's tough to root for him (although I do lol). Quite a conundrum.

Great place to visit but I was under the impression the series is filmed on Islamorada. I know the Rayburn's BB is Moorings Village & Spa and is located there.

The Moorings Village and Spa is located at 123 Beach Rd, Islamorada, FL. Moorings offers a variety of rooms, ranging from $359 a night for a one room villa to $2,500 per night for the two-story plantation house featured on Bloodline. If you don’t want to check in, but do want to check out the resort’s beach, you can always have lunch at The Beach Cafe, which was also featured on the show.

Almost none of it is filmed in Key West. It's all Islamorada and Marathon.
