Nissans are shitmobiles. I will never own one again.
We had a Pathfinder that had tranny problems which was endemic to that model. I dont know if it affected other Nissan or not. What would happen is coolant would leak from the radiator into the tranny and destroy it. I flushed my tranny thoroughly, topped it off with fresh fluid and then traded that bitch in. Good luck.
