Well,there you go. That does alter the analysis. It would certainly create some additional excitement for the upcoming season. As would Batum, but I doubt that happens.

If they're going to max a guy out this summer, Parsons is a good player. Knees are worrisome, but they've really only picked up guys with pristine health records, so maybe a reverse jinx is in play?
Some Dallas bias, I think, for Pels fans on him.
ETA- I do think Barnes makes some more sense w/ Hield in tow. His ability to play the 4 on defense is attractive. Still a wild overpay, but you arent buying his offense
