it's a great place for stadiums as far as traffic flow.

The traffic flow is fricking terrible. The location isn't that huge of a problem, though a baseball stadium should probably be downtown, but the traffic flow is HORRIBLE. There is always a traffic jam on the Bush trying to get to the game from north Dallas, where the majority of the people in DFW live, meaning a 20-minute drive without traffic usually takes one and half hours on game night. And the ground streets in Arlington by the stadium have terrible traffic flow, leading to huge traffic delays getting out of the games.

Traffic is so bad for Cowboys games that it's not worth going at all. I have never been to a stadium with worse post-game traffic than the two in Arlington. It's horrific.

Arlington is the largest city in the US without any type of public transit. That's one reason they can fund stadiums, but fans from Dallas or Ft. Worth can't take a light rail to the games. The Cowboys make a fortune from parking. The stadiums are nice, but the games at experience sucks at both venues.
