If you want an equally interesting story research Cyril Vetter who published that book. He's a poet, musician, tv station owner, songwriter, author, Vietnam vet among other things.

I am kicking myself for not buying a complete set of drawings he did for a bank on Florida Blvd. the drawings were at the Trash & Treasure sale a few months ago, put on by the Rotary Club Intercircle. They were asking $500 for the complete set. It was the second day and said I was the only one that picked it up and knew what it was. There were 5 drawings but only two were worthy of framing. I offered $200 for the two drawings but they turned it down. Told me they were not planning on lowering the price on the last day like they do everything else, but said I could have all of them for $400. I turned them down.
