Hopfully for your sake the Bucks will have a better chance going out west early in the season against the Trojans.

Ah the big 10, the only BCS conference with teams that are favored to lose their bowl game by more then 10 points. Yes the respect will be flowing in when you turn in yet another miraculous 2-6ish bowl season

What years did your national championship games allow Texas in? Actually I remember Texas getting in because they were playing for the National championship. YOu have lost your cookie privileges

WTF are YOU talking about. The Rose Bowl is part of the BCS, and pick in order. They WOULD take us, but we are already taken (three NC games since 2000.) We won/tied for the Big 10 championship one or two other times as well. Under the old system, we would have gone to the Rose Bowl the other times.

Texas has won as many Rose Bowls as your bucks have in the past 30 years. Big 10 didn't even join the BCS till mid 90's.

And Texas getting in to those 2 games did not have anything to do with OSU national championship games. Good try though

YES, I KNOW. Since then we have been in THREE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES, no of which were in the Rose Bowl that year. And two more years where another BCS game picked us first.

So you agree in 30 years the Bucks couldn't win more Rose Bowls than Texas even though Texas only went to a couple of them.

Yes, but you must also agree that the BCS system has pull Ohio State away from Pasadena several times as well. Not to say we would have won.

I'm done with this thread.

Since everyone wants to throw out this stat..perhaps we LSU fans should consider another. The underdog in 7-2 in the BCS National Championship Game, including Ohio State/Miami. BTW, Miami could have blown out any SEC team that stepped on the field that year.

I'll be surprised if they say that after their bargain-basement find leads them to three or four consectutive losing seasons.

Unfortunately for your point, those that deem such things as "college football dynasties" do not have nearly the attention span to look all the way back to then. These are the people who have already crowned two teams this decade as "dynasties" that were sub-.500 ten years ago. They crowned SC a dynasty for having three great years in a row, winning one championship and barely losing a second one. Ditto for Miami. Three consecutive 11-win, top 5 seasons plus two National Championships in 5 years plus the ONLY two-time winner of the BCS era . . . yeah, that will easily fit the "dynasty" bill.

It's hard to imagine any conference being a bigger joke than the Big 10 this year. C'mon, Appy State?!?! In the BIG HOUSE?!?!

What's gonna trump that!

Michigan would be a great place to coach.

Compared to some other extremely cold, unattractive school that is living on its past history from 20 years ago. Its Alabama without the heat.
