The problem with BR, is that people here are fairly cheap. I guess there's just not enough money in BR for a true upscale restaurant. There are probably BR area chefs that can compete with the best but in terms of restaurants BR is well behind NOLA.

What are you talking about? There's a PF Changs, Flemmings, AND Bonefish Grill in the same shopping center. BR blows NOLA out of the water.

You don't have to be super expensive to have incredible food. NOLA has many restaurants that won't break your wallet that is better than many of the Commander's price range restaurants.
