May be a scam.
Last week, someone called my 92 year old grandmother pretending to be me and saying I was in a Fort Lauderdale, FL prison on drug charges and needed bail money. Luckily she didn't give them any info and kept saying, "call your daddy" over and over, but it shook her up so bad she had to be taken to the hospital. I got calls from my aunt, uncle, wife, and then the police department checking if I was ok.
I finally got to talk to her that night and even though everyone told her I was fine that day, the first thing she asked me was, "how did you get out." 92 fricking years old and these fricks ran this scam. I would love to run across them in a back alley. To imagine the amount of elderly people they call per day with this scam is just mind boggling.

Jerry Juneau
He owns all the prison call-routing in Louisiana, East Texas, and southern Arkansas.
Give him a call and register an complaint.

yea i just havent been able to accept the charges cause i ducked the first calls and missed the 2nd one
If you are really curious, just rape someone and turn yourself in. Get thrown in jail and start doing some asking around.

Dang that would be one easy scam in a college town, all you do is have an automated answering machine saying that its the county jail or whatever. Ask the caller to allow a $5 call and then just be bogus. Big football weekend you'd be able to make $20,000 in no time.
