That, actually, is how lineup construction works.



Them walking one of our best basestealers is an incredible side effect of great lineup construction, cochise.

I love it when people justify getting a better hitter less at bats than a worse one when the numbers don't even support it then smugly continue to argue that it is sound baseball strategy.

Stealing bases is great and all, but when you have a .210 hitter trying to drive him in it becomes less advantageous.

Keep telling me how protecting a hitter is a bad idea. I'll keep laughing at you.
