I understand our leadoff batter has alot or RBI's because of this. In that case, then why do you want Pap 8th? Put a better on base percentage guy in the 9th spot then so Duplantis could get even more RBI opportunities. The leadoff guy is suppose to get on base period. Driving in runs in for the 3,4 and 5 guys. No reason to recreate the wheel. Bottom line, you want your best hitters to have the most at bats throughout the year. Freeman batting 9th does not allow this to happen.

So you do want to move Freeman to the top of the lineup. FWIW, moving Freeman from the 9-hole to the 8-hole would result in maybe 5 more AB over an entire season.
