Richard Simmons hospitalized?

Something weird is going on here. A couple months ago a news agency got word from someone close to Richard told them that he was being held against his will. Simmons did break his silence in a phone interview after not being heard from in 2 years saying he was fine.
This weekend he was taken to the hospital for 'bizarre" behavior according to TMZ

My two cents:
He's getting up there in age and he had a knee replacement. He's had to work out hard in his life to be skinny and in shape, he is not naturally that size.
My guess is with the knee replacement and his age, he can no longer keep up that exercise routine and he's put on a few pounds, and he's probably embarrassed to show his face.
Poor guy. I think everyone would understand.
