Not looking for any spots or coordinates, just never fished the area and want to try a new area. Heard there are good wellhead and oyster reefs in the Lake Borgne area that hold some good trout. Anybody fish the area or advice as far as cautions with boating certain areas would be great. Thank you.

Just tie up to the L&N and drop heavy weighted baits to the bottom. Nothing else good over there as far as I know right now

Run south till you hit Da Rocks.

Thats a tough spot to fish, but if you can jig the piles you can pull up some trout on the bridges in the right conditions. I haven't been too successful, but I plan to learn this summer and fall. Good luck to ya.

There are trout near the Rigolets in Lake Borgne. Shrimp everywhere. Rigolets is tough this time of year but it'll get better. It's a really awesome and rewarding place to fish, but at certain times of the year you just gotta chalk it up to it just not being that good. It seems that every year has been progressively tougher over the last few years.
