Basically it seems that some things trigger the phone to record at random times. It records things when you say "OK Google" in order to perfect it's voice recognition for you....but it's also being triggered somehow and recording when you don't realize it.
Go to history.google.com and look at "Voice & Audio Activity" to see if you have any files saved in your account history.
No voice history for me since I use an iPhone.

except Apple does the exact same thing:
there was an AMA on reddit awhile back from the guy that combed through all of the recordings from iDevices... all day, every day, and that was the entirety of his job

Mine only has my Google and YouTube histories. Never has recorded anything else

By looks of my audio history, google must think my voice sounds like a garbled mess of radio and tv commercials.

Mine just looks like every time i accidentally hit the voice search button.
