has been POURING on campus for last 20 or so, still raining but it just lightened up a lot. looks really ugly straight west of here
According to the radar a cell just moved through BR but everything is moving north. The heavy stuff is coming up out of the Gulf towards Lake Charles. What we have to worry about for the most part are the random cells that pop up out of nowhere south of BR. Which right now looks not too bad but who knows what it will be like in a couple of hours.

We are going to be dodging these fast moving cells all afternoon. The big stuff doesn't look like it's going to work its way to BR anytime soon.
These cells are small, quick moving, and don't have much lightning so it's looking good.

Sun shining like a mofo at my house 4 miles from the Box.

Correct. It's not what's moving in from LC that is the problem this afternoon. It's those cells that develop south of us move through.
As the weather front progresses to the east we'll see more frequent development.
In my opinion, I don't think they should even start the game. If they do I surely would'nt burn a starter

Yes, those pesky microburst cells might enter the picture. Let's hope the lightening stays away.
