Yeah I'm joking as far as downhill. It's great but with those times requiring extreme patience, self-control and bearing. I had great parents so at least I have that model in my head. My favorite age is probably 3-7, when they're cute and silly without even trying and start learning how to do enough to make things a bit easier, but before the attitude starts kicking in.
That is a good age...and if they are raised properly during this period...paid a lot of attention and not allowed to run amuk...the next 10 years ain't unbearable...between 3 and about 5 is when they learn to respect their parents and the key is to respect them...not belittle them or scare them but simply treat them like the individuals they are...
It is amazing to me how much difference there is between girls and boys. My son has always been as translucent as a glass of ice water...my little girl came out of the womb manipulating her world and playing on the emotions of those around her...at 6 she is the equivalent of a 21 year old man in manipulating her surroundings....there is almost always an angle..
