On July 24th, 2012, in a loss to the Cardinals, Kershaw gave up 8 earned runs in 5.2 innings to up his season ERA to 3.14.

Since that outing, which spans 116 starts, Kershaw has obviously been unreal.

Here is his cumulative stats since that start:

..W--L....ERA...GS......IP......H......ER....BB....SO....WHIP
.67-23....1.84....116...840.0...573...172...155...970...0.879

If you go back to August 17th, 2010, which covers 177 starts, his stats are:

..W--L....ERA...GS......IP......H......ER....BB....SO....WHIP
.98-37....2.08....177..1267.2...898...293...264..1409...0.916

He's must see TV, but he does need some postseason success. A lot of doubters out there that will always point out his postseason struggles

He's also has 27 Losses or no decisions in games he gave up 2 runs or less. 16 of those he gave up 1 or less.

Very impressive. If he is pitching, there's a good chance I'm watching. Cubs lucked out not having to face him this time around

Obviously those are incredible numbers, but what Maddux, Johnson, and Martinez accomplished during the steroid era will never be equaled.
