Does catching shrimp tails in a tall hat, hitting the flat top loudly, repeatedly and unnecessarily, and flaming volcanoes need to be a requisite? I usually feel like I'm at Chuck E. Cheese's birthday palace when at a Hibachi grill.

My best experience was a place in Montreal. I was there on business, it was close, lunchtime and my coworker wanted to go. There was no showsmanship by the Chef, he just cooked up the best Hibachi meal in front of us that I've ever had.

If you don't want all the theatrics, then sit at a regular table and order it
