Where would Ali rank?

Where would he rank had he not been exiled? He was head and shoulders above ALL competition pre ban. He missed his prime. Lord only knows what boxing fans missed by not seeing Ali in his prime. What say the MSB?

I mean some of his best boxing came post pan so I'm not sure...3 years...he's still the best in my eyes. Ali was an animal.

Hell he is #1 to me. Definitely in heavyweight. Who cares about the ban. He did things with press and media that are cliche today. Had a ridiculous jab. And became a cultural icon. Positive and negative down racial lines. People will always be pissed because he didn't go to Vietnam. But shite many people didn't. If you'd have drafted me in 66' I'm going. 1969? If Tyson had not imploded personally he'd be there, but his prime was very short. And all in all rape is a tad worse than draft dodging.
