Eta I wouldn't even call it a filet at that point. Maybe a medallion or some something cute like that. Also you should have told the butcher how thick you wanted the filets cut.

Yes, 2 oz filets. These were $14 for the four ($25/lb). Looked like stew meat. Granted, these are the tips of the loin and the best part (make the best tasting filets.
