We have been letting him cry it out since our son was about 2 weeks. He's been sleeping through the night 7pm-7am since 6 weeks. He's now 15 months.
It's not about just letting them cry it out. You have to understand why they are crying. If they are just fussy then you let them cry it out. If not feeling good then you don't.
