I did it this morning. It is not as bad as people proclaim. You expect it to be crowded and it is, but once you get pass Main Street it is open.

We plan to hit at least 2 or 3 rope drops.
As for all the negadisneys here, the last time I went it was thanksgiving week and the weekend before. Everyone here said it will be packed and will suck. We didn't think it was that crowded. We waited only 45 mins for one ride we couldn't get fast passes for.
We had a blast and don't believe it will be anymore packed then it was Thanksgiving week because school is not out in many parts of the country.
Disney is all about planning and for anyone who says it was horrible and won't go back, doesn't know how to plan their vacation.
I started this thread for this exact reason, still trying to fine tune my vacation, by getting advice on rope drops.
