Sigh. The Warriors also lost to the Lakers big. That's not the point.
The Warriors haven't met a team able to outsmallball them. The Warriors death lineup which had run roughshod over the league was 1-16. Ibaka at 5 and Durant at 4 stifled nay destroyed the most potent offensive lineup in the league.
That hasn't happened. This is a blueprint like game. It shows that what the Warriors trump card which had pretty much guaranteed them an advantage against anyone, won't always work against thunder.
Not saying it can't work, but it won't always work.
This is also different from a Thunder standpoint. This team has been BIG all season bringing Adams and then Kanter. Against the Spurs they brought both. The fact that they were able to be efficient with Roberson and Waiters on the floor is a big change for them. They were still able to protect the rim with Durant and Ibaka. Then they were able to OUTRUN the Warriors on the other end.
Additionally, the Warriors haven't let Westbrook have an efficient game since Kerr has been coach.
Warriors should be scared. That's all I've said. You guys have fun in denial.

They tried that exact lineup in game 1 and it didn't work well, they ended up with a +/- of -7. Ie, shite like tonight happens
That lineup also netted a -2 in their OT game this year when steph hit the 35 foot buzzer beater. It also netted a -10 in their game in march. So before tonight, that lineup never posted a positive +/- and was worth a combined -19
On the flipside, against the thunder, the lineup of death never had a negative +/- before tonight and had a combined +31

Westbrook had an INCREDIBLE and efficient game 3. Dude also locked down Steph for majority of the game. Major props to him for playing tough on both ends of the floor
