and is that really THE possum?

I don't think it's THE possum. That one had white tips on its ears.

imposter possum

Didn't the real rally possum have round ears? This one has pointed ears. This is an imposter.

Eta: see comment above me.

If this isn't the exact same one, we're talking about one of the worst self-sabotages of all time.

It's too big as well. The original was a baby. This is a farce!

Didn't they confirm the actual possum was killed at the vet school the same night?

The vet school will be sacrificing a possum every night we have a game. Thats what #rallypossum is all about. I thought everyone knew this

If it isnt, someone outside the baseball program came up with this idea. No one who knows the game would risk losing the mojo by not having the exact same opossum.

I read somewhere they euthanized the real rally possum because it was rabid.

This was a bad idea, and should be pointed to if the Gators sweep.

Yea this is a horrible idea if it isn't the same possum from rally night. If that possum is gone, than there should be no imposter to attempt replacement in the name of social media.

And we are well past sacrificing a chicken.

MAYBE, they thought this could be just like the legend of Mike II

Would we be allowed to eat said sacrifice, or is that a no no ?
