Peak Timmy is not top-10 for me, but he was a great player for a long time. Career-wise he's top-10 for me.

That is a good way to view it too IMO.

You have to look at Timmy's playoff averages to appreciate peak Tim Duncan. When the games mattered, Tim was the best player on the court and showed why.

This is a valid point. I also have zero problems with anyone leaving Bill Russell off the all time 10 greatest players list
