sorry, to correct OP, I stupidly said PF for Ole Miss, but their main speaker was Tom Brokaw, making my point much stronger against FK and LSU!
wow, looks like the Law school has Jon Bel, Manship has Jay D and LSU main speaker is FK! Look putting all personal beliefs aside why not have at least some outside "known" speaker. I know $'s are tight so getting a "big name" is out, but your telling me this is best LSU can do? So Cokie Roberts in 2013, George Bush in 2005 etc....come on! am I wrong here, and again, though I dislike FKA, it has nothing to do with that, what college does NOT have an outside speaker? (Southern for example has Cedric Richmond-not my favorite guy but a US Congressman!) and ole miss had PF at law school, Tom Brokaw as main speaker....

Pretty pathetic that your main speaker for graduation is the President & Chancellor. LSU is a dumpster fire these days.

People still go to their college graduation? I just picked my diploma up the day after from some random office on campus. Why the frick would you want to sit there for that long just to get a piece of paper ?

The main ceremony is at 8AM. Nobody that I know is even going.

You should've just said that you were mad about F King being the speaker. Using Finebaum in your post makes it look like LSU made a good decision with F King.
