This is regarding the Season 7 proposal to Holly.
One of the sweetest moments in TV history.
So much dust in my living room.
Just wanted to make it a point to bring that up
The way everyone got involved was just so damn touching. Even before the proposal when Pam brought him into the conference room to discuss the how, and how everyone was behind his proposing.
So many feels.

"That was the one I was most worried about."

The last scene of that episode was so bitter sweet. The way everyone just stared in shock when he said he was moving was chilling.

Honestly, I was never a fan of Holly.
Jan was the antithesis of Michael's personality. While you never felt like they were meant for each other because she never really accepted Michael for who he was, there was a sense that she brought balance to the relationship.
Holly and Michael being two, big personalities had that feel that they would destroy the world together.

It's funny because I just got to "Goodbye, Toby" and Holly was introduced this episode. I hate her for a couple of reasons, but overall, because she's the downfall of Michael. I don't care about their love story because she's awkward, kinda useless other than the fact that she single handedly brought the show to shambles by taking Michael away.

SPOILERS
What I really loved about Michael Proposing and the several episodes leading to his departure, is that Michael exhibits behavior that makes you question how he even manages to make it on his own. It's really quite scary when you see it.
From Classy Christmas Michael is an insufferable jerk, he can't even navigate Scranton on foot by himself, and doesn't understand that gasoline is explosive. But leading up to this we see him learn to accept constructive criticism (Threat Level Midnight), accept that Todd Packer was a jerk and not a good person (Todd Packer), and he even managed to not be self centered and not make last day all about himself (Goodbye Michael).
I don't know if it was intentional, but I think we were supposed to see Michael as this guy that had he left Scranton and the office, he probably wouldn't be alright. But with these several episodes we see Michael capture the love he was always looking for, and transform into a man that we as the audience feel comfortable knowing that this man is going to be okay now.
