Having discussion with some friends and we were split on if Manu Ginobili is HOF or not.

Career 14 3 and 3
44%
27 min per game
2 time all star
4 championships

I said no way. What is your guys opinion on this?

You have to be generally loosely associated with basketball to get in. It's super easy to get in to the basketball HoF.

Yes. He will get in. Extremely easily.

Yes but they have to make him endure a 20 minute "highlight" reel of all his flops before his acceptance speech.

He's probably in. Being the greatest player that Argentina has produced helps.

In my opinion, I don't think he should. However, it's really really really easy to make the basketball Hall of Fame, and he did help win the gold medal for Argentina in 2004 I think, which will help him. He will be in the Hall of Fame.

Would probably be a hall of farmer without playing in the NBA.

His Italian team won the Italian league and Euro titles.
Argentina won Olympic gold with him as star.
Argentina won World Championship with him as star.

Its a great career but not an NBA hall of fame career with just 14, 3, 3.

Havlicek also started out as 6th man, but later averaged 28, 9 and 7.5 and 27 8, 7 in his two best seasons and lots of 20 points a game seasons.

Easily in the HOF. Along with Kevin Mchale the GOAT sixth man. If he had his own team he's easily a 25-5-5 player
