Exactly, and never take out the "usd equivalent" or whatever they call it. Always take out cash in whatever currency you want and let your bank do the exchange rate, it will be MUCH more in line with true exchange rates.

ATM's tend to have the better conversion rate iirc. I usually get $100-200 in whatever currency I am converting to just in case though.
