I don't want to contribute to, or prolong, any argument, but "military spouses" is one of the categories that allow into my classes at zero charge.
I don't recall any (maybe one ?) active duty .mil students. But their spouses are always welcome.

Dawg - we generally don't need the course, as a DD214 with small arms training (like basic) generally suffices. I had heard that was changing (I'm NOT a CCW holder, but this may be what pushes me over the line - can't wait for Constitutional Carry much longer) and not sure how recertification goes, but that's why you don't see uniformed military students (at least I think that is the likely reason.)
