Which would win between these match ups?
1. Red Jay vs Blue Jay?
2. Hawk vs Falcon?
3. Canary vs Humming Bird?

Mockingbird's are thug POS.

My favorite is the Blue Jay vs. the Crow. The Blue Jay is a bad sumbitch and could not care less of the size of the crow.

Mockingbirds don't give a shite..Seen plenty of them chasing after crows.

I just prefer the good ol cockfights.

I've seen two cardinals (is that what you caling a red jay?) attack a blue jay at my birdfeeder.
Weirdest fight I saw was two humming birds, fighting on a branch. I had never even seen a hummingbird land before that.

1.
Blue Jay
2.
Hawk, unless it's a sharp shinned in which case I will take the falcon.
3.
Canaries just look like they are always daring someone to try something on them.

Don't underestimate the owl. There's a picture at the BREC nature center off bluebonnet of an owl eating a hawk someone captured.

Cardinals are pretty tough hombres.
I had one attack his image in my truck mirror until he wore himself out. He went at it so hard he left blood on the mirror and feathers on the ground.
Tough, but not overly smart I guess.

Hummingbird wins all of these (except for the "Red Jay" because I don't know what that is) by bugging the crap out of all the others until they leave. Yes, they will even challenge Red-tailed Hawks.
Another family of birds that all of these will leave alone is woodpeckers. A red-bellied woodpecker is a mean SOB.

I've heard of a green Jay but not a red Jay.
