Where is the 8th Ward? I'm assuming it's St. Roch or the Upper 9th.

But see that's where some true unselfish leadership could help these folks out, and break them of this shite. Everyone who purports to help them like the pastors, politicians, and civic leaders keep these folks dumb and uneducated for their own profit. It's disgusting how these folks are nothing but pawns in the grand scheme of things. There really needs to be someone prominent folks stand up and help these folks help themselves. All the folks I mentioned prior have too much to lose to help them.

Okay, I just got it to load. shite be wild. And none of those dudes know how to fight.

ETA: The sad thing is that little kid didn't seem fazed one bit. My arse would have been crying in a corner at that age if I had seen that shite.

Just the cycle man. My father came from nothing either and similar stuff like that but he changed for the better of his kids. Now me and my sister are the first to graduate college and our kids are gonna continue the trend and then their kids and before you know it 3 gens down you'd never know we didn't have shite when we started.

Ehh something like that. I say that because the part that extends from about gentilly Blvd to the lake is already middle class. That lower part around the river closer to the lower 9 idk about. That's where that altercation happened.

Good for you man, wish your example would be the rule rather than the exception. Do you agree with my take that better leadership in the community would allow more folks to follow your example? It honestly makes me sad to see shite like that going on in the city. There is absolutely no reason for people to act like they did in the video.
I wish someone would just tell these folks that no one has their best interests in mind, and if you want your life to change you have to do it yourself. The sooner this shite starts to change, the better it will be for everyone.

These things take time and you can only try and help those who want to help themselves. We may have to leave some people behind because they do not want to change, but we can't abandon a whole group of people. Breaking the cycle isn't easy but I'm glad you guys are doing it.

Did you mean an al·ter·ca·tion
noun
a noisy argument or disagreement, especially in public.

Yea I definitely agree with that. Because that fake blame shite just handicaps your thought process. No one is gonna give you anything you have to go get it. It might be tough but it's out there. It won't change tomorrow but little by little the years will start making difference.

Trailer trash whites don't comprise 7% of the population but account for
50% of violent crimes.

Hope to see someone get inbetween this before someone is buried. Maybe this being on tv will somehow help, otherwise someone's house and set would have already been shot up.

The guy dishing it out took precaution not to "flush" the guy receiving it. Dragging him off the concrete pad and into the grass saved the back of the other guys head.

That scrawny dude that walked up, had to have planned to use that gun, he was half the size of those other guys. No way he planned on beating their arse with his hands, the camera crew probably stopped a murder.
shite gets "real", quick down there, having worked down in many of those parts of NOLA before, you learn to avoid eye contact and mind your business
