Senio was the only one drafted.... in the 5th round... by the Cardinals...
He washed out, and ended up on our practice squad.

Lelito was a UDFA, who started as a backup and got playing time mostly because of injuries...

Neither Tim nor Senio had the success in college that Landon, Jack or Avery had.
Avery might have the best path to starting at left guard of the 3 of them... NEXT YEAR. Landon will need conditioning work, and opportunity to get a shot at RG. Jack, just hopes to catch on as a backup to Max Unger... Unless Max were to leave to free agency after this season, Jack is looking to earn the possibility to replace him in about what... 4 years?

Whether these guys were taken in the 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th....
They were going to face the same scrutiny and uphill battle to starting time.

If you watched the draft, there was a lot of new school analytic picks being made this year. Vadal went at the end of the 7th... that should conflict with your senses if you have any homerism in you.

I think a lot more of the draft is being done similar to baseball now. Teams in contact with the players about signing them. Contracts already in place at certain dollar values. Way more than we know is going on.

It was always happening for Landon.
