I think its just for moving people around inside a base, but I don't know for sure. The rep they had there was talking to people who were actually going to buy them, so I didn't want to bother him.

That is one of the prototype vehicles that SOCOM has a RFP out on. It's not armored on purpose. They have a whole fleet of big, heavy armored vehicles. They are looking for light, fast, nimble to be able to go cross country. The heavy armored vehicles are confined to roads which makes them IED magnets. Going cross country means they don't have to worry so much. There is a height requirement so the vehicle can fit in a V-22 and I think I see some sort of joint on the roll bar to allow it to fold down. Confirming that would tell me if it is for that requirement of not.
