I usually say "please GTF away from me, thanks." It's been highly effective over the years. The worst I ever get is them mumbling something under their breath as they walk away. I think the magic word helps, plus a flash of the crazy eye as I look at them.

It absolutely helps. My typical responses are "Get the frick away from me" or a simple "frick off". So far it's 100% effective.
