Here's another question - Do you tell someone cutting your hair if they do something wrong? I've been going to the same shop for several years, and have had several different women cut my hair. They all do a good job but not a damn one can cut the bottom of the sideburn straight. I hate to piss them off by mentioning it so I haven't. Usually just go home and straighten it myself, but its not that hard to follow the line that is already there.
And yes, I always tip.

My baw does it for $15 and I give him a $20. Look good, feel good.

See now those are reasons why I have to consider my hair my best feature. Cause clearly I got fricked over in the teeth and forehead department. You aren't stating groundbreaking news there.
Can we see a pic of your hair?

Does he rub his chub on your knee when trying to get that straight line on your bangs?

Always tip your barber and your waiter. They can seriously frick you up if they don't like you.
Who was it that said something to the effect of, "It's always a good policy to tip a man who holds a razor to your neck,"?

You should always tip when a service is performed.

I typically tip $5 on top of my normal cut. If I get a coupon or a discount, I tip the difference. For example, a $25 cut I tip $5. If the $25 cut costs me $15 b/c of a coupon or discount, I tip $15. Costs me the same, but the stylist gets more $$.

Why tip someone for something you can do yourself? I only tip my urologist, I can not pulverize my own kidney stones.

I used to pay $20 but the new place I go to is $19 so I keep bouncing around $22-25.

Of course. I'm not an a-hole. 2-3 bucks is the norm. The last girl was particularly efficient, so she got $4.

I miss these weird head massages you get after getting a cut, while on deployment. Dudes can cut hair really well and give a good arse straight razor fade too

Also the Vietnamese chicks in most military cities are also really good at cutting and the massage they give afterwards with their little machine is nice.

It's great because I have it highlighted.
Hope you mean balayage. All other highlighting should be banned.
