Is our pool Brek Shea, Edgar Castillo, Greg Garza and Tim Ream?

I ask this because I freaked the frick out reading something today where it said Johnny Bornstein is having a renaissance season at Queretaro and could warrant a call-up.

There's got to be some hope out there.

ETA: This is assuming Fab will strictly be in the midfield moving forward.

Left back has been a black hole since Beasley got old. And he was converted to the position because we had no one else way back then either.

Tim Ream is more of a centerback than leftback. He's a leftback in the same way Cameron is a rightback.

IMO:
Villafana>Garza>Shea>Castillo>Ream

I would add Lichaj but Jurgen has had years to call the dude up and doesn't seem keen for whatever reason (oh, because he's an idiot).

Form has got to count for something. That said, I would rather move on unless we absolutely need him. But I think JK would sooner move Nagbe to LB than call up one of Bob's faves.

Agreed and that's where he's mostly played at fulham. But since he's come back into the fold with the USMNT, we've used him at LB and I think in terms of CB's in the pool, his only shot at an international career is on the left, because we are actually getting pretty stacked at CB.

I would only put him behind Brooks at L CB. If Brooks goes down I would pick between Ream and Besler.

Garza will probably be the go to guy once he gets healthy. Would love to say we had a young guy coming through the ranks, but I can't think of one.
