For some reason I am the guy that always get picked to serve on a jury. My first time ever was a trial involving local and state police storming a house and arresting the defendant and a large quantity of drugs, cocaine.

State lab guy brought all the drugs into the court room in a Winn Dixie grocery bag, folded and stapled shut. As he testified he opened the bag and brought our zip lock bags, saying this was in the bed room or that was in the bath room closet.

When we went to the jury room one the jurors said, " that boy aint guilty cause how was he to know what was in that winn dixie bag?" A retired Colonel tried to explain to her how the drugs got into the bag. She replied she knew what was in her grocery bags and how could that boy know since it was sealed shut.

This led to an argument between the two and I knew this would end in a mistrial. The foreman tried to restore order but as they say, alas. Jury vote was 7 guilty and 5 not. Vote went along racial lines.

Wait wait. The jurors got confused that the prosecution sealed that bag and that's not how the drugs were originally found?

Holy shite if so
