They needed one of these bad boys. My dad gives these to everyone at Christmas every couple years.
A few of his other gifts...travel toothbrushes, flashlights, jumper cables, batteries, hand powered radio

One can dream. The whole bottom floor, which is a parking garage, is flooded right now.

Was able to semi-drive on my golf course yesterday and today.
For reference that's a par 3 about 170 yards with a creek that is about 40 yards in front of the green.
14"+ of rain since Sunday night.

It's gone down a bit, just waiting on the downstream to drain out and help out. I still have 6 greens completely underwater and at least 11 fairways under as well. It's a mess.
I'm going to ask for a raise today.

Last night I walked by the Prius of the old man that was "saved" by the reporter. It was quite the tourist attraction.

Yeah, kids out of school messes a lot of stuff up. 59 to downtown was clear during rush hour. Looked like business as usual everywhere downtown though. The tunnels had plenty of traffic and parking garage looked similarly full.

One of my coworkers in Philly sent me that video link yesterday and said he fully expected me to pop out of that car, on my way to the most important meeting of my life.
I told him he severely overestimated my commitment to this job.

They replaced the sign language guy.

Just don't go West of downtown. Memorial and Allen parkway were a shitshow this morning.
I'm usually on autopilot every morning and drove right towards it without thinking about all the debris that would still be on the roads.
