Had to bury my dog today

Hardest thing I have ever had to do. I had to bail my god damn tears out with a bucket before I put him in. He wasn't even 5. Never had a chance, he basically had no liver. Now daddy is about to destroy his. I miss my snuggle buddy. How do I post a fricking picture?

Very sorry about that. Been there many times. I miss them all and think often about dogs that have been gone many years. The only bad thing about dogs is that we outlive them.

As a kid, we never had any pets. So when my wife and I were 25, we are now both 40, purchased a pet we purchased a pug who was the greatest fricking dog in the world.
She died last year, and I have never cried so hard in my life.

My dad put down our family dog a week ago. He rents and was in tears when the lady at the desk asked if we wanted to take him home to bury. I've been there
(We could've buried in him in the woods. We opted not to.)

Sad sad. I hate hearing stories like this. I got two three year old pups. They are great. Just like two kids.

I am going to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. We all dread the day you have just had, but you were there with your beautiful dog, and I know your dog was so much more comfortable with you there. Prayers for you and your dog.

I am reading this with mine laying next to me. I repress what's coming. He is 11. Prayers.

Sorry for your loss. My suggestion is to get another dog pretty soon. Some will say you need to wait, but since we have multiple pets, when one dies, we already have another right there. And we'll get another and to me it always helps take away the pain while enjoying a new dog or cat.

He looks like a GREAT dog. This is a terrible loss.

I feel your pain man. We put my 11 year old boxer down a few months ago and I'm still sick thinking about it. He had developed a large tumor that was compressing his bladder and not allowing him to urinate. It was either put him down or have his bladder relieved twice a day. I went with the logical choice and put him down. What hurt so bad was the fact that he still acted like he did when he was a puppy. Up until we put him down he was feeling fine, oblivious to what was happening. At the vets office that morning he wanted to play the entire time and was bouncing around like a fool. We were just preventing the inevitable. That's the only way I can make myself better about it.
