We got a late start, so we basically only had 4 hours or so once we hit the area. Started at the real Jamestown - seeing the actual historical site was my main priority. From there we hit the glass house and watched a quick glass blowing demo. Had about 2 hours left and really wanted to do Colonial Williamsburg, but Siri was telling me it was a 57 minute drive. Decided to just hit the "fake" Jamestown Settlement, which was really worth it for the museum. The replica ships were pretty cool to see as well when you consider how many people were on them for such a long journey.
I really wish we had another couple days there. Would love to have had another couple days. I'd like to hit Monticello and Mt. Vernon in addition to Colonial Williamsburg. I never would have guessed there was so much to do around there and will definitely consider the area for a future vacation (planned right).

ETA: Also saw a bald eagle and its nest at Fake Jamestown. Pretty damn cool.

Cool! Siri doesn't know what she is talking about. It would have been a 10 min drive tops to colonial Williamsburg but at least you got to see all of Jamestown. Glad y'all enjoyed it.

Yeah you can do a lot here for vacation. They recently opened up a shooting range in colonial where you can shoot the old musket rifles. I think it's about 150$ or so but I'm gonna check it out
