Any ideas from the FDB.

I feel locked into Antoines and Commanders isn't big enough. I would prefer commanders but it's not feasible.

TIA

do a reception
Sit down for 100 is a nightmare
the food will be better at a reception and it will be more fun

mine was at the Napoleon house upstairs and it was awesome. Ten years later people still talk about it

I'm guessing half the family is from up north or something. No need to do a full sitdown meal for that many people. If you do it, just go to a hotel ballroom.

If you are open for reception style set up, lots more places come into play.
Where is your rehearsal and where are most of your peeps staying?

Arnaud's knocks these kind of events out the park. Antoine's is terrible.

100 for a rehearsal dinner? Isn't a rehearsal dinner only supposed to be for close family and the wedding party? what the hell?

Had mine at Arnaud's in the Gold Room. They have about 3 or 4 other options there also, some with balcony access. Only complaint I have about the room we chose was the size of the bar.

Damn brah big ballin over here.

I would suggest arnauds, Muriel's, Antonines could accommodate you with proper planning.

Check out cochon's room. I can't remember the name.

Also pigeon & prince is besh's be place where le foret is which I believe was created specifically for this type of thing.

i attended a similar event at Murial's (upstairs) on Jax Square and the ambiance was killer. They have a "seance" room, really nice bar area. Food was okay and was sit down from a fixed menu with 3 options.

Good luck!
