Like most have said, he needs at least 2 years of college before he will be ready to play. The coaches selling him on playing early were straight lying to him.

Cannot wait to see what Aranda has waiting for him. Unleash Bower, Key, Beckwith and White

He was always a project and never should have been ranked as high as he was during recruiting. Haskins and Patterson were 2x the QB that Franks was and still are. Franks was terrible at the elite 11 this past year. Scott would eat Franks lunch.

Aranda will never coach LSU against Franks. As has been pointed out, Franks is three years away. And LSU is either a one, or two, year stepping stone for Aranda.

Flippy has a great NFL-looking frame and tremendous arm strength. Besides that he is absolutely horrible. His instincts are comically bad. This is not a guy likely to see an SEC field regularly until at least his third year in the Florida program.

It affects when gameday comes.

If you're trying to imply that he is a gameday type of player, history shows otherwise.

He's only had what a dozen or so practices? I wouldn't write him off already. He wouldn't have started at LSU for another 2-3 years anyway most folks following him knew that.

Ummm LSU is not a stepping stone for any coach. Let's see how how the man does coaching in the SEC before he gets anointed as a head coach.
