He's never really been known as a runstopper. He's had poor production as a sicker for the last two years. Up until last year, he's had a very questionable work ethic. He only got on the field for 26% of the defensive snaps last year.
That's why he took the only offer he had, which was a substantial decrease in pay from last year.

If could've had somebody even kinda in a quarterback's face last year, cam and kikaha would've turned those fraction of a second misses into sacks
