Berg walking or running has never been my thing. Give me something to throw, catch, dribble, etc. I will run or walk all day. Just the thought of walking or running for the hell of it, Meh.
Berg how you been?

Your version and my version of walks are different. Walks to me are 4-5 miles. 8 miles is a good walk.
Walks completely clear your mind and set up your thinking for tough problems and future aspirations. Walks around the lakes then b-line to the levee are what got me through grad school. All my ideas and thoughts on projects and careers came through walks. Some are 1.5 hours, others are 3 hours. It's great. I did a 24 mile walk one day last October.
