Deanie's is mainly a place to get fried seafood.... Go in thinking your blood pressure is about to double. I've tried their BBQ shrimp and it's OK but not the best.
To be honest I also just found Pascale's to be ok as well.... Yeah I know they invented it but that doesn't mean others can't improve on it. Other originals I've tried that didn't blow me away and others have tweaked and improved 1. Oyster rockefeller at Antoines 2. Muff at Central grocery.

I've only had muffelattas at central grocery in New Orleans. I love them. Where are they better?
