we've had exactly the opposite experiences on AA and Delta. Delta's not been my friend after stranding me at the ithaca airport after 5 hours, then losing my friends bag and sticking me in a middle seat the following morning. I'll agree I'm not a fan of going through MIA (or ATL for that matter), but at this point we're left with some crappy choices of who to fly. Most of the general public just enjoys finding the cheapest ticket so that's what I post in here (minus Spirit airlines) quote:
