are you kidding me? First off he had some of the best years LSU has ever seen! second its not like he coached here for 15 years, left and we want him back. he just left! You cant argue he wasnt a good fit at lsu. And did you notice all those negative things were while at ALABAMA! Come on now...thats not even relevent.

another thing...no body owns him! he has done as good as can be expected against some of the best coaches in the country. I mean come on dude. Your blaming the guy for losing to guys like tuberville and Richt? And he did just fine against croom while here. That was a pathetic excuse for an argument!

I say offer him the job for the same pay as when he left, with incentive raises in his contract. If he takes the paycut, I think we have a long term coach and a monster of a program.

While I am on the fence about NS, this is probably the only move he has left in his bag-o-tricks. Coming to LSU for a paycut is about the only move he has left without getting tar-and-feathered... as much. Of course he would be put through the ringer. But this move would be the only move that he has made in the past 4 years that actually makes sense.
