Am I missing something? The Fobus video linked is not of an IWB holster. It's clearly riding on the outside of his waistband.

It is a disconnect. The quoted article starts out by slamming Fobus, generally. The video illustrates problems with the commonly available paddles from them. Then, he goes on to describe specific problems with the design of the IWB, but the video doesn't appear to address that part of the article.

Overall article is "Fobus Bad." While I both own some of their products and generally agree, it is not clearly, logically connected in the original article, either.

No, you're not "missing" anything. But it is a Fobus holster in the video.

Yeager was semi-famous for doing this in his classes for years. He'd ask if anyone had a Fobus, then he'd proceed to do exactly what you saw in the video. It was a visual teaching aid that apparently made quite an impression on students (Never saw this personally in the classes I took).

Then he'd give the student a new holster (brands that were handed out varied over the years).
