Michigan has said they are in NO hurry to find a new coach

actually, they said to total opposite, how crucial it was to make a hire fairly quickly and how it would have been ridiculous for carr to step down after the bowl game.

Actually, all Mich AD Bill Martin has said is that he would like to get this done by the end of the year. That is the only difinitive timetable that is in the public domain.

Mich Advisory committee (which does not include Lloyd or B. Martin) met for the FIRST time yesterday. There are 7-8 members, but no names are known for certain. (Possibly former player(s), faculty rep(s), ath. dept rep(s), alum(s), etc.). They are just going to create a short list that they feel should be pursued.

Lloyd is really pretty sick. There are good sources that say he has Parkinsons and has since about 2001. He is medicated, but has gradually yeilded more and more of the effort to his assistants. This year he did not want to be there at all. And it showed. He stayed because he was asked.

There are believed to be up to 20 names begin considered by the Advisory Committee. Lloyd is helping with vetting the names (has made calls to GVSU and CMU about Kelley, OSU about Miles and BG and Utah about Meyer).

I wouldn't expect the decision soon. It will likely be predicated on who the target finally is and when it will be appropriate to make it public relative to that individual's/school's/team/s situation.
