Im not trying to start a war here but I'm curious, if you can buy a dedicated smoker and a dedicated grill for less than the cost of the egg what is the big advantage? is it having the ability to do all that on one?

I haven't tried except for flavor. I would assume so. They are basically a BGE. I've looked at BGE's in stores, and don't see any difference other than aesthetics.
